Continuously improving
sustainability standards
Prysmian reached the B+ level set by the Global Reporting
Initiative Guidelines, with the 2013 Report showing
important improvements. In order to guarantee the
reliability of the reporting to stakeholders, Deloitte was
once more appointed to check the data and issue a ‘Report
on the limited examination of the Sustainability Report’.
Prysmian Group has published its

B+ in the sustainability application
level determined in accordance
with the Global Reporting Initiative
Guidelines (GRI, version GRI/ G3.1),
the leading world organisation for
sustainability reporting.
Compared to previous years, the
number of indicators contained
in the Report has been extended,
and the approach to reporting
enhanced by disseminating an
improved sustainability culture
within the organisation, with training
and information flows involving
employees at all levels.
Qualification sought
for the DJSI
In 2013, Prysmian Group took part in an assessment carried out by
RobecoSAM for entering the
(DJSI) and
improved its score significantly compared to a year earlier. The DJSI
is based on analysis of corporate economic, environmental and social
performance, assessing issues such as corporate governance, risk
management, branding, climate change mitigation, supply chain standards
and labour practices.
