Prysmian Group, world leader in the energy and telecom cable systems industry, has been included in the Silver Class of Lundquist.future, the prestigious research promoted by Lundquist and awarding the companies that best communicate sustainability issues through their digital channels, i.e., corporate website, social media and other connected digital platforms, such as magazines and mini-sites.

The Group was included among Silver Class - Narrators due to its ability to take a structured approach to communicating sustainability through credible content, and it stood out in the special rankings as one of the companies that achieved the largest increase in its score — of more than 20 points — compared with the previous edition of the analysis.

This achievement bears witness to Prysmian's focus on the needs of all of its stakeholders, who today also increasingly base their choice to use a product or a service on the ethical, social and environmental impacts of the companies that produce them.

Lundquist, a leading international research company in the online corporate communication field, analysed 100 companies, of which 80 biggest listed companies by market value and 20 leading non-listed brands. In particular, the study assesses two aspects: "substance", i.e., the sustainability strategy, including concreteness, thoroughness and interconnection in conveying detailed information, strategies, policies and objectives regarding environmental, social and governance matters, and "distinctiveness", the aim of which is to understand how and to what extent the content in question is compelling for users. On this latter issue, particular attention was paid to assessing the company's ability to communicate sustainability in its business in a compelling, unique way, through textual and visual elements, and its ability to engage in dialogue with stakeholders by opening up to social media, including comments and feedback, with content accessible to all. In particular, the Group distinguished itself for the wealth of content relating to sustainability issues on its website (www.prysmian.com/en/sustainability), the completeness of the mini-sites linked to the Group, its storytelling ability and supporting literature, which includes the Sustainability Yearly Overview.

“This important recognition is confirmation of the Group's ability to engage in dialogue and rewards our transparent, comprehensive approach to communicating our best practices," explained Lorenzo Caruso, Corporate and Business Communications Director, Prysmian Group. "Sustainability is a strategic asset for Prysmian and our excellent performance in Lundquist.future is proof not only of the important work that we are doing to make sustainable practices central to our way of doing business, but also of our ability to communicate our commitment effectively.”
