With a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florence, Valerio Battista is a manager with extensive skills and experience built up in the industrial sector over 30 years, first with the Pirelli Group and then with the Prysmian Group, where he took the helm in 2005. His earlier roles within the Pirelli Group gave him increasing responsibilities, including the restructuring and reorganisation of Pirelli Cables in the period 2002-2004. As a result, the division became one of the sector's most profitable and competitive businesses.
He then played a key role in the 2005 creation of the Prysmian Group, which obtained a stock exchange listing in 2007. The Group is a world leader in the supply of power and telecom cables.
He was the Chairman of Europacable from June 2014 to March 2019 and has been the Lead Independent Director at Brembo S.p.A. since April 2017. Before joining Prysmian, Alessandro, from January 2006 to September 2013, covered various roles within the Corporate Legal Department of Luxottica Group S.p.A., until he was appointed Head of Legal Affairs; thereafter, from October 2013 to October 2016, as Chief Audit Executive of Luxottica Group S.p.A., he managed and coordinated globally the audit function and activities, leading an international group of more than 20 professionals organized in four regional audit teams based respectively in Milan (Italy), Cincinnati (Ohio, USA), Shanghai (PRC) and Sydney (Australia).

Srinivas ‘Srini’ Siripurapu received his Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University USA. His graduate research focused on polymer blends and alloys, structure property relationships of polymers, polymer rheology, nanomaterials and supercritical fluids.
Srini joined General Electric Company after graduating from NC State and held multiple roles of increasing responsibility in product development and technology innovation. He served as their Global Product Technology Manager for the Specialty Polycarbonates Business. While at GE, he completed his Design for Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification. He moved to General Cable Corporation and went on to serve as Vice President of Global Technology with responsibility for the Research & Development and Engineering functions of the company.
Srini currently serves as Chief R&D Officer of Prysmian Group the world leader in the energy and telecom cable systems industry. In his current role he is responsible for the company’s world wide R&D strategy, R&D talent development and Innovation pipeline.
Srini has a proven track record of building high performance teams and successful customer driven innovations in Energy, Electrical Infrastructure, Communications, Automotive, Aerospace, Healthcare and Consumer Electronics market segments.
Srini is active in industry organizations in North America as well as Europe and he mentors young scientists and engineers through these professional organizations.

Fabrizio Rutschmann is the Prysmian Chief Human Resources Officer. He graduated in Business Administration at Ca 'Foscari University in Venice, with a specialization at the SDA Bocconi in Milan. Fabrizio began his career in the Electrolux Group in 1989, holding various positions in the Human Resources function in "Appliances" and "Components" divisions. From 1998 to 1999 he worked in Unicredit as HR Director of one of the seven Group banks. In 1999 he joined the Tyre Division of the Pirelli Group as Human Resources Director of the Italian Division. In 2002 he moved to the Cables and Systems Division as Global Director of HR & Organization. The following year, he joined the Telecom Italia Group in Rio de Janeiro as Human Resources Director of the Latin American Region. In 2006 he returned to Pirelli as Group Director HR & Organization. From January 2009 to February 2010 Fabrizio has also been General Manager of Pirelli in Spain. He has been in his current position at Prysmian since June 2010.

Between 1995 and 2001 he worked for several companies within the Panalpina group, including as Regional Financial Controller for the Asia and South Pacific area and as Administration, Finance and Control Manager at Panalpina Korea (Seoul) and at Panalpina Italia Trasporti Internazionali S.p.A. In April 2001 he become the Finance and Control Director of the Consumer Services BU at Fiat Auto, which he left in 2003 on appointment as the CFO of Benetton Group, where he stayed until November 2006. Facchini joined the Board of Directors of the Company in February 2007. With reference to his current mandate, he was elected on 12 April 2018 from the list presented by the Board of Directors, which obtained the majority of the votes cast at the Shareholders’ Meeting.

Graduated with a degree in Electronic Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 1979 and later obtained an MS and a Ph.D in Electronic Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1986 and 1989 respectively. His working career started in 1981 as a designer of control systems for chemical plants at Tema (part of the Eni group). In 1982 he moved to Honeywell as a member of the Technical Staff and, later, as a Technical Advisor to the CEO. In 1989 he transferred to the Electronics division of Magneti Marelli as the Innovation Manager. In 1995 he became the Managing Director of the Rearview division and then, in 1998, took the same role at the Electronic Systems division, again at Magneti Marelli. In 2001 he moved to Pirelli & C. S.p.A. as Director of the Truck division of Pirelli Tyre and, one year later, became the Utilities Director of Pirelli’s Cables division. In December 2004 he was appointed as Director of the Prysmian Group’s Power Cables and Systems BU, a position that he held until December 2013 when he took responsibility for Corporate Strategy and Development. Romeo joined the Board of Directors of the Company in February 2007. Andrea Pirondini has been CEO North America since February 2021. From January 2014 to February 2021 he was Chief Operating Officer of the Prysmian Group. With a degree in Economics and Commerce from the University "Luigi Bocconi" in Milan, he began his professional career in the Pirelli Group in 1989 covering, in over 25 years of experience, various positions between the United Kingdom, Italy, Turkey, Russia and Egypt in the Tires and sectors Cavi e Sistemi, where he participated in the restructuring of the industrial system of power cables. From 2004 to 2007 he was responsible for the Steelcord Business Unit, and for the country of Turkey in the Pirelli Pneumatici area. From 2008 to 2010 he was head of the Pirelli Truck Tires Business Unit. In 2010 and up to the beginning of 2012 he followed the inorganic growth operation of Pirelli Tires in Russia, becoming CEO of the new JV created with the partner of the Russian Federation Rostekhnologii. In 2012 he was appointed Chief Commercial Officer of Pirelli Tire S.p.A., role held until December 2013.
Member of the Board of Directors of Prysmian Group since 2014. Before his appointment as Chief Operating Officer Prysmian Group in February 2021, he was the CEO of Prysmian Group North America. His career in the Pirelli Group began in 1987 where, over a period of 18 years, he held various positions in R&D and Operations. After leading the Business Development department from 2000 to 2002, with responsibility for the Tyres, Power Cables and Telecom Cables businesses, he was appointed as the Pirelli Group Operations Director for Power Cables and Telecom Cables.
Following the creation of Prysmian Group on acquisition of the power and telecom cable activities of Pirelli in 2005, he became the CEO of Prysmian UK. Between 2011 and 2014 he served as the Chief Operating Officer of Prysmian Group, and then as Senior Vice President Business Energy Project and Chairman and CEO of Prysmian PowerLink S.r.l. He was the CEO of Prysmian Group North America from June 2018 to February 2021. Battaini graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano has an MBA from SDA Bocconi.

Philippe Vanhille has been EVP Telecom Division since May 2013.
After graduating in 1989 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lyon University (France), he commenced his professional career as a Research Engineer, working on the development of Renault's Formula 1 programme, before moving to the cables sector in 1991 with Alcatel Cable. Over a period of two decades he held various Operations and General Management positions in the cables industry, with Alcatel and Draka, and then in copper and optical fibre cables for the power and telecom sectors. At the time of the Prysmian-Draka merger he was responsible for Draka’s Optical Fibre BU and then held the same position within the Prysmian Group until his appointment as EVP Telecom Division.

Juan Mogollon has a bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Arizona and a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley.
From August 2016 to June 2018 served Senior Vice President of General Cable Latin America. He has over 25 years of experience across multiple industry segments in mature and emerging markets. He has extensive, proven leadership experience in driving peak performance, growth, and operational efficiencies. While at GE, Mogollon held various global leadership positions, including Global Commercial Director for GE Capital Equipment Services; Commercial Director for GE Consumer & Industrial in Europe; General Manager for Global Contractual Services, Product Marketing and Latin America Services with GE Healthcare; and Managing Director for GE Medical Systems Brazil. Prior to joining General Cable, Mogollon served as President of Growth Markets at Tyco International, and President of Security Services for UTC in Europe.
Starting June 2018, he will be CEO of the Latin America region.

Graduated at the Faculty of Literature and Philosophy, University of Bologna, Department of Communication in 1983, Lorenzo Caruso began his career as a journalist at “Resto del Carlino” newspaper (Bologna). He then moved to communication consultancy and worked for 5 years at Global PR firm “Burson Marsteller” as Board Member and Director of Corporate and Financial Communication practice. In 1993 he joined Assicurazioni Generali as Group Press Manager within the Communications Department. He worked both on corporate, financial and product communication for the parent company Spa, and on coordinating the communication activities of foreign and Italian subsidiaries operating in different sectors, in particular: Generali Asset Management, INA-Assitalia, Banca Generali, Generali Properties, Genertel, AMB Generali (Germany), Generali France.
He moved to Prysmian Cables & Systems as Director Corporate Communications in 2006. During this period he worked on rebranding the company (from Pirelli Cavi to Prysmian) and developing the Group's new institutional and business positioning, on the communications plan in support of the IPO, and on communications plans in support of the company's change of ownership, organization and business.
Lorenzo Caruso has been Prysmian Group Chief Communication Officer since January 2008.

In this role Stefano has worked to reposition IT as business partner and engine of innovation within the company.

Graduated with Mathematical Praise in 1991, he has held several senior management positions in major multinational companies (Kraft / Mondelez, Bolton Group, Ferrero, Walgreens Boots Alliance), gaining a significant international experience in Luxembourg and UK.
He has a good track record of working together with some Italian Universities: University of Bergamo, University of Torino, SDA-Bocconi, Politecnico di Milano.

Maria Cristina Bifulco, graduated with honors at Università Commerciale “L. Bocconi” in Milan and completed her MBA in Strategic Management at the Kingston Business School in London. After the MBA she joined Bloomberg Financial Services in London and in 2008 she moved to Italy where she joined Snam SpA where she firstly served as Head of Financial Markets Analysis and Investor Relations and then as Head of Foreign Subsidiaries, coordinating acquisitions of foreign participations. In 2013 Maria Cristina became Head of Investor Relations at Indesit Company SpA and joined Prysmian Group in 2014 as Group Investor Relations Director.
Iuri is Prysmian Group Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). He joined Prysmian in May 2020 and was appointed CSO in December 2020.
Iuri holds a Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering from “Università degli Studi di Roma Tor Vergata”, as well as a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from SDA Bocconi (Milan) and London Business School (London).
Iuri started his career at Procter & Gamble, where he had several assignments in different countries (Italy, France, Belgium) from 2003 until 2008.
He then joined the Boston Consulting Group in Milan until Dec 2013, where he led multiple assignments within the Consumer Goods and Industrial Goods Practice, focusing on strategy, business development, and business model re-design & optimization.
Before joining the Prysmian Group, Iuri was the Head of M&A and Corporate Finance at Lavazza (Jan-14 to Apr-2020), where he was responsible for acquisitions, partnership and other external growth initiatives. Hakan Ozmen has been EVP Projects and Chairman and Managing Director of Prysmian Powerlink S.r.l. since June 2018. After graduating in Industrial Engineering, he began his professional career as an Internal Auditor and corporate secretary at Siemens AS in Istanbul. In August 1999, he obtain an MBA from Istanbul’s Yeditepe University. In September 1999, he joined Pirelli S.p.A. as Internal Audit Manager for the EMEA region, performing audits in Germany, Italy, Finland, the United Kingdom, Turkey, Romania and the Czech Republic. In January 2001, he was appointed as the Administration, Finance and Control Director of Turk Pirelli in Istanbul, and later become Chairman of the Board there. After serving as the Global Director of Prysmian Telecom for two years, in 2011 he was Chairman and CEO North America of Prysmian Group until May 2018.
Marcello Del Brenna will be the CEO of Prysmian Group in United Kingdom. He served as CEO of Prysmian Group in South America for 4 years from January 2015 to June 2018.
He started his career in Prysmian (at that time Pirelli Cavi) in 1993 in the R&D department in Milano. In 1999 he moved to Australia as Chief Engineer, when Pirelli bought MM Cables, coming back in 2001 to the headquarters as Director for Product Marketing and Engineering. After a 4 years’ experience as CEO of Prysmian Cables and Systems Finland, he moved in 2009 to the position of CEO of Prysmian Powerlink, responsible for the Submarine and High Voltage business of the Prysmian Group worldwide.
Marcello holds a Master Degree in Nuclear Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, obtained in 1992.
Javier Arata is the Chief Executive Officer for the North Europe region in Prysmian Group. Javier has been working in the industry for the last 26 years. After graduating from the University of Buenos Aires in 1990 with a Master of Electronics Engineering and working as an IT Consultant and Electronic Engineer, Javier started his career in manufacturing at Pirelli Pneumaticos in 1992. Since the start of his career at Pirelli, Javier has received a Master of Business Administration in IDEA as well as completed the International Exchange Program at London Business School (1994). Born and raised in Argentina, Javier has plenty of international experience – from different positions in Argentina, UK, Spain, Brazil, Italy, Finland and, currently in Malmö,Sweden. Laurent began his career in Pirelli Cavi in 1985 holding various positions as Engineer R&D in Italy and in France from 1985, as Director BU Network components in 1989, as Director BU Power Distribution & High Voltage in 1995 and as CEO Pirelli Cables Danubian Region in 1999.
Form 2001 he’s been the CEO of Pirelli Câbles et Systèmes France which became Prysmian Câbles et Systèmes France since 1rst October 2005.
Since 2015, he is the CEO of Prysmian South Europe (France – Italy – Spain – North Africa)

Frederick Persson serves as CEO of the Central East Europe region within Prysmian. He started that role in February 2018 after serving 4 years as CEO of Prysmian Australia. Before that he served as CEO for Prysmian/Draka in Sweden for 3 years. Prior to starting with Prysmian in 2010 Persson served as Managing Director for Stappert Specialstal in Sweden. Stappert is a wholesaler in the steel industry with focus on stainless steel. Persson has also served as the Sales Director for Balco, a Swedish company focused on balconies and glass solutions for balconies. Prior to that, Persson served within the Swedish steel company SSAB Oxelösund, he held various positions within Logistics and Sales in Sweden and in Canada. Persson holds a B.Sc. Degree in Business from the University of Växjö, Sweden and a degree in Chemistry engineering. He is born 1971.

Erkan Aydoğdu is a graduate from the Middle East Technical University (in Ankara, Turkey) with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Aydoğdu started to work within the Prysmian Turkey family in 1997, in the Production Planning department.
In 2000, as a Process Kaizen Engineer, Aydoğdu moved on to Italy. Here he began a position as leader of the continuous improvement teams in Europe's different facilities, between 2001-2002. Aydoğdu came back to Turkey in 2003 and worked as Logistics Manager.
Then in 2010, Aydoğdu took on the responsibility of R&D and Logistics Director.

She has launched and managed start-up from green field, business development and downsizing projects, and has extensive experience in crisis management.
She was CEO of Trenord - the second Italian railway company owned by Trenitalia and Ferrovie Nord, with 2,300 trains per day and 4,300 employees – and President of TILO - a Swiss company owned by the Swiss Federal Railways and Trenord, which manages cross-border transport.
