Prysmian Group is committed to creating value for all stakeholders and contributing to sustainable development through projects and activities aimed at generating positive impacts.

The Corporate Volunteering program encourages employees to dedicate their time during the working hours in order to be the difference.

Rise Against Hunger is an international organization that distributes food and life-changing aid to the world’s most vulnerable, ending hunger by 2030.

The organization was founded in 1998 by Ray Buchanan, a United Methodist minister, and began its meal packaging program in 2005. Today it mobilizes more than 400,000 volunteers. Since 1998, Rise Against Hunger has distributed more than 380,000,000 nutritious meals in 74 countries.

Together as a Group we have packed 39.600 highly nutritious meals. These meals will be distributed by RAH’s partners, using them as a tool to change lives by promoting education, improving students’ health and nutrition, addressing gender inequalities, stimulating economic growth and fighting child labor.

Prysmian people willingly helped by packing 183 boxes containing meals that will impact lives and feed children in Africa. It was a good opportunity to remind ourselves of the difference we can make in society.

It was a remarkable experience that created a true sense of team spirit.” said Carlo Scarlata, Prysmian Italy CCO.

Fabrizio Rutschmann, our Chief HR Officer, strongly believes in the power of giving back: “It was exciting to work together and contribute towards making a difference alongside non-profit organization.

Prysmian’s Corporate Citizenship and Philanthropy policy aims to assist with the needs of communities, in line with our vision, mission and values.
