The company has received two awards from the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry for “Adding Value to Economy 2014”

Prysmian Group Turkey has been making a significant contribution to Turkey’s industrialisation and its cable industry for half a century with its innovative products and solutions developed in close synergy with the latest technological advances. The company has received two awards from the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry for “Adding Value to Economy 2014”:

- Top prize in the “Electrical-Electronics” category, accepted by Sevda Yücel, Prysmian Group Turkey Purchasing Director from Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu;

- Award for becoming the tenth largest exporter in Bursa region, accepted by Figen Tamuroğlu, Prysmian Group Turkey Treasury Manager from Deputy Prime Minister Bülent Arınç.

Speaking about the awards, Sevda Yücel said, “We are very pleased to have been honoured at the “Adding Value to Economy 2014” award ceremony. We care about the growth and development of the Bursa region in terms of Turkey’s economic dynamics and aim to boost our activities in that direction.”

The award ceremony, held at the Merinos Atatürk Congress and Culture Centre, was attended by government Ministers and city Mayors, as well as representatives from local civic organisations and businesses in Bursa.

With 50 years of contributing to both the economy and industrialisation of Turkey, now crowned by these awards for its achievements in the sector, Prysmian Group Turkey aims to continue its investments in the region in line with the company mission of “Linking Turkey to the Future”.
