Prysmian to present state-of-the-art power cable portfolio at Middle East Electricity 2008.

Milan, 5 February, 2008 – Prysmian Cables & Systems, a worldwide leading player in the energy and telecommunication cables market, will present a broad state-of-the-art range of power cables at Middle East Electricity 2008, a major international conference and exhibition in the electricity sector taking place in Dubai from February 10 to 13

Prysmian’s product portfolio at MEE will focus on:
  • Plant & Petrochem Cables  - complex and integrated power, control and instrumentation systems for chemical, petrochemical, power or industrial plants – The range will include the innovative Airguard Cable System, a range of cables specially developed to offer significant improvement in mechanical protection of the cable

    The Middle East Electricity Conference & Exhibition represents an excellent opportunity to reinforce Prysmian’s strong presence in the Middle East region, where the Company is already carrying out several strategic power cable projects, particularly in UAE, Qatar and Bahrain. The Middle East is a key area for Prysmian’s expansion strategy, particularly in high value-added markets, where special products and services are required, these include, extra high voltage and submarine cables and systems, industrial cables for the Oil & Gas Industry (on-shore and off-shore) and fire resistant cables for constructions.
