Interview with Hakan Ozmen at CommunicAsia 2010

From June 15th to 18th in Singapore Prysmian attended the 21st edition of CommunicAsia, one of the most important ICT events in Asia, an ideal marketplace where exhibitors and customers can discuss the latest product innovations in the communication field.

During the exhibition Brian Dolby from Total Telecom Tv interviewed Hakan Ozmen – Global Telecom Director – who confirmed that Prysmian is very active in the ASEAN area especially in Malaysia and Indonesia where it has a factory producing optical cables
Mr Ozmen added that in recent years Prysmian has been active in a number of the ASEAN countries including Vietnam which has recently been growing rapidly in terms of its telecoms infrastructure.
Regarding the Telecom products Mr Ozmen underlined how the VertiCasa cable system is the first choice of the Installers because it is flexible and easy to install.

At CommunicAsia 2010 Prysmian showcased its latest products and solutions for the Telecom industry, focused on the FTTH technology including VertiCasa and CasaLight Xtreme bend insensitive fibre.
Fibre and cables samples were on display at the Company’s Booth that was well attended by customers as well as new potential interested trade visitors.

Also this year the 4-days event ended successfully with more than 38,600 trade attendees, and about 25,842 industry professional visitors coming all over the world - 55% from overseas –
The 1,306 exhibitors from 52 countries – 81% from overseas – had selected CommunicAsia to unveil their latest product and services.
