Reporting and Raitings

Prysmian Group’s Sustainability Report 2021 contains detailed information on how we work to achieve medium-term targets aligned with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. These targets are just one of the pillars of our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) identity, along with contributing to the energy transition, supporting the development of our people, and creating stakeholder value. The report provides information on our strategy to deal with climate change, what we are doing to promote Diversity & Inclusion, and our contribution to the communities where we work.

Sustainability Indices

Prysmian Group’s stock is included in the major international sustainability indices, which are an important tool for investors when making decisions that take into account a company’s ESG impact. These ratings assess the extent to which a company bases its decisions on social and environmental factors in addition to economic performance. These indices help us guide our efforts for constant improvement and to reach our targets. Moreover, variable compensation (both long- and medium-term) of the Group’s managers is linked to our performance in sustainability indices.

Our Sustainability Scorecard

Our Sustainability Scorecard lays out a concrete and measurable action plan that enables us to manage Environmental, Social and Governance goals as a part of our business activities. The Scorecard’s three-year targets to 2022 include objectives such as reducing waste and emissions, achieving more gender equality, and improving workplace safety, and are aligned with the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals for 2030. The Scorecard reflects criteria from the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), and feedback from our stakeholders about the issues most important to them.
