Prysmian is helping Germany to carry out an ambitious
wind-plant programme, with its state-of-the-art submarine
and underground cable connections. The Group is also

Centre of Excellence
Prysmian has its German headquarters in Berlin and boasts six plants:
Schwerin, Neustadt bei Coburg, Wuppertal, Nuremberg, Berlin-Köpenik
and Neumünster. Thanks to a continuous focus on innovation and with four
R&D labs, the Group in Germany is also a “Centre of Excellence” for many
applications with added value for the entire Company. As such, it provides
national and international references for many applications, such as solar and
wind power, mining, rolling stock, multimedia and specials, and automotive.
