The
was awarded by
Germany’s Billfinger Sielv Facility
Management and involves supplying
50km of medium voltage P-Laser
cables, a high-performance
eco-friendly product madewith
recyclable rawmaterials that
allows the environmental impact
of networks to be reducedwhile
raising their efficiency and power
transmission capacity. Prysmian
Groupwill also supply 300km of
low voltage cables from its Afumex
range, which combine reduced flame
spreadwith very low emission of
irritant and corrosive gases. All the
cables will bemanufactured at the
Pignataro and Giovinazzo plants in
Italy for delivery by end of 2014.
