We proudly present this year’s second issue of NExsT magazine, Prysmian’s publication on the worlds of broadband and telecom.

 

In this edition, we’ll be looking ahead at the themes of this year’s FTTH Conference together with FTTH Council Europe Director General Vincent Garnier. In our technology section, we talk to Eindhoven University of Technology Associate Professor Chigo Okonkwo, who is researching technologies with Prysmian, to ensure capacity keeps up with exponentially growing demand.

 

We’ll also be looking at a new paper from WIK (Wissenschaftliches Institut für Infrastruktur und Kommunikationsdienste GmbH), which indicates that fibre cables are absolutely necessary to reach government gigabit targets, and we examine plans for ‘comprehensive’ 6G development this year, announced by China’s Ministry for Industry and IT.
