Dear reader,

We’re proud to present this year’s fourth issue of NEXST magazine, Prysmian’s publication on the worlds of broadband and telecom. In this issue, we’ll be exploring several current trends and themes.

Read about the latest developments in the global FTTx market, which is expected to reach $14 billion by 2023, and the worldwide market for Software as a Service. We also take a look at fibre-related developments in Germany, the United Kingdom and Kenya.

In Prysmian news, there’s a feature about the recent General Cable merger, considered from an R&D perspective, news of FlexRibbon™ products featuring an ultra-compact outside plant cable design and coverage of Prysmian’s participation at the recent FT-ETNO summit.
