Following the communication released on February 20th regarding the WesternLink interconnection project, Prysmian Group informs that as per the results of the testing and investigations executed to date, the issue, which required the system to be temporarily switched off, has been localised in the Southern land cable section.
Prysmian has already started mobilising specialised teams on site to investigate the nature of the issue. In parallel, Prysmian is putting actions in place to undertake the repairing in the shortest time possible and with the lowest environmental and logistic impact.
Prysmian confirms full commitment and the deployment of all needed resources to make this strategic interconnection work at the best of its capabilities and to ensure support to our customer.
