Prysmian Group informs that during the transmission ruled by an early use agreement made by both parties a system failure has been detected in the WesternLink Interconnection. As consequence, the Link is out of operation.
Prysmian has immediately mobilized a team to identify the location and the reason of the fault, on which it will be possible to choose among the alternative remedial plans and to determine potential financial impacts.
Prysmian remains committed to solve the issue in the shortest time possible, with the lowest impact possible, and will provide further updates as soon as the technical assessment of the event is completed.
