Prysmian Group (BIT: PRY) communicates that the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act applicable to the proposed acquisition of General Cable Corporation (NYSE: BGC) expired on March 7, 2018. As a result, the transaction has been cleared for U.S. antitrust purposes. The transaction remains subject to other regulatory approvals and customary conditions.
