The XOK 6312 Underwater Joint closure consists of two end blocks (of brass) and a tube (of tinned copper) that connects the end blocks. The end blocks have an entrance for one cable and a fixing system for armour wires. The cable metal sheath (lead or copper) is mounted to the entrance tube’s inner surface. It is sealed with a heat shrinkable tube and a sealing adhesive.
