The coffee roaster’s HQ based in Turin wired with Group data cables

Prysmian Group, in partnership with R&M, is a main supplier of Lavazza, the company famous throughout the world for the production and sale of coffee, which has recently renewed its data transmission system in the Turin headquarters. R&M, a long-standing customer of Prysmian Group with a turnover of several million euros, is a Swiss market-leading company for the supply of passive cabling solutions for optical fibre and copper communication networks.

Prysmian has supplied R&M with OM3 and Cat. 6a U/FTP model optical fibre cables. The Cat. 6a U/FTP model , with patented shielding and no splines, ensures greater flexibility in the installation phase and 10GB data connection, resulting in the fastest Ethernet standard. The use of this cable, one of the smallest on sale, allows a reduction in space requirements thanks to the use of smaller ducts, thereby lowering the cost of plastic materials by an average of 20%. Prysmian may also supply the cable in 305mt box, which makes installation easier.

Roberto Monini Bonini, sales manager Prysmian Italia, highlighted: “The solutions arising from the partnership between our company and R&M best meet market requirements, supplying quality local networks with the most advanced and innovative technical requisites.”
