Prysmian Cables & Systems, will present its new Fire Safety campaign and the product portfolio for the Trade & Installers Industry at the exhibition Light + Building 2010 that will take place in Frankfurt am Main (Germany) from April 11 to 16, 2010.

Light + Building is the world’s leading trade fair for Architecture and Technology.
It is used by manufacturers from over 50 countries, including all market leaders, to launch trends and innovations from the fields of lighting, electrical engineering and building automation.
Within this unique framework, over 2,000 exhibitors (178 in the cable segment) present their latest products, innovations and trends.
At its booth (Stand D86, Hall 8) Prysmian will display its full range of products and services for the Trade and Installers, with the Afumex Plus 1000 cable representing the latest development in this product portfolio.

This cable, engineered and produced in Germany, is the first halogenfree cable routable anywhere (outdoor, in–ground, and even in areas with a risk of flooding) and gives additional safety in the event of fire.
Prysmian will take the opportunity to promote this product together with the new Fire Safety campaign, and to show some of the communication Tools developed to support the promotion of this family of cables.

In the recent years Prysmian has indeed invested in higher added-value products and has developed a full range of high performance cables, which continue to operate even in the event of fire and have reduced emissions of toxic gas and fumes. To inform and to make aware about the great contribution of cables to improve safety in case of fire, Prysmian has developed and launched a new website dedicated to designers, specifiers, distributors and installers, but also to real estate developers, architects and other professionals as well as to end-users. Together with the website, a new leaflet has also been developed together with other communication tools to deliver correct and complete information to professionals interested in fire safety.
