What is your role within Prysmian? 

I am a Regional Inside Sales Manager. Part of my responsibilities include account management for the West coast of the United States in the Energy and Infrastructure sector. I am the bridge between our customers and our manufacturing plant.

What do you like most about the Sell It program? 

There are many things that I like about the Sell it program. I like how the program spends a great deal of time and resources finding the right employee-company fit. I like that program dives the employee into the intricacies of the company culture and business model. Most of all, I like that the Sell it program pays a lot of attention to the individual development including professional improvement and career growth within the company. 

What is the most challenging thing about your job?

Being the voice of the customer and the voice of the company at the same time. Part of my duties is facilitating open channel communications with both company and  customer to reach mutual agreement of goals. 

What is the most rewarding thing about your job?

My job is challenging, since I work to support a global company, the environment is very dynamic. I love my job because I get to learn about new technologies within the energy and fiber industries, and talk to people from all cultural backgrounds and diverse work experiences both inside and outside my company.  I also work with an amazingly smart, dedicated and fun group of people. I couldn't be happier. 

What kind of training or support do you need to make your performance more effective? 

Having the ability to have periodical technical training to enhance my skill set is definitely key to being successful not only in this program but also within the company.  

Would you recommend the Sell It program to someone you know and Why?

Yes I would recommend the Sell it program to anyone I feel would be a good fit for the company. The Sell it program is geared for individuals with broad range of sales skill sets. The program takes into account not only professional experience but also educational and global experience. It values the potential contributions an individual can bring in a local level and at a global capacity.
