Human Rights in Prysmian Group

We are global leaders in the cables industry operating across the globe, in many different countries and with many different communities. We believe that safeguarding the dignity, freedom and equality of all human beings is at the heart of who we are as a company. We reject discrimination of any kind and all illegal acts  and activities, such as corruption, and forced or child labour, and support the full realization of socio-economic development.

The Group Human Rights Policy applies to Prysmian Group's physical and legal boundaries in terms of business activities and operations carried out by the workers of Prysmian S.p.A. and its subsidiaries. The Policy also applies for those workers who are independent contractors working in Prysmian Group venues and plants.

In addition, the Group encourages all suppliers it works with to adopt the Policy as expressed in Prysmian Group's Code of Business Conduct.

We seek ways to honor the principles of internationally recognized human rights, even when faced with conflicting requirements.
We aim to ensure that we are not, directly or indirectly, in any way complicit in human rights abuses.

Prysmian commitment is inspired by internationally recognized standards related to human rights:

  2. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights;
  3. The International Labor Organization's (ILO) Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work and its conventions;
