With Earth-orbiting communication satellites indispensable to the modern world, Draka Fileca is proud to have developed a new series of space wires and cables – the FA3901-2-P. In this cable, PTFE is remobed from the outer layer of cabling jackets, in order to improve radiation behaviour during the lifetime of the satellite.

The FA3901-2-P series in focus:

  • Uses the same qualified cores as ESA/SCC 3901-002 wires and is now ESA certified according to ESA/SCC 3901-002 specification(extensions 74 to 91).
  • Specially developed to eliminate potential dust pollution.
  • Delivers weight saving and diameter reduction in comparison to the ESA/SCC 3901-002 series.
