Whether it is your first year of college and you are planning your post-grad journey, or you’re a primary school educator looking to build a strong STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) foundation for your students, we have programs to address your needs.

CHINA
  • Local Graduate Program (Co-Op): Students learn first-hand from working alongside talented employees. They will have job rotation and orientation in production, process, quality, logistics, and maintenance (one month in each department). Then define the full-time position depending on individual skills, interest, and manager's evaluation.

NORTH AMERICA (YOUTH)
  • STEM in the Classroom: Employees assist local elementary school teachers with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) related activities to pique students' interest and strengthen the community's link to the future of STEM in America.

  • Midlands Reading Consortium: Employees assist local elementary school teachers with reading activities to increase literacy skills of students.
    • Location: Prysmian Group North America HQ (Lexington, SC, USA)
    • Eligibility: Lexington Elementary School students, in Participating classrooms
 
  • Job Shadowing: Employees' children are invited to spend a day at Prysmian—learning about the products we make, touring the facilities, and meeting different professionals.

NORTH AMERICA (HIGH SCHOOL)
  • Lexington High School Co-Op: Technology students work with seasoned professionals for a semester to gain school credit and experience.

  • Due West, SC Robotics: Our Abbeville, SC location participates in a local Robotics Team with the nearby high school student and attends competitions.

  • Rocky Mount Prep Internship Program: High school juniors take part in a 16- or 18-week, 32-hour internship for school credit.

  • Georgia Institute of Technology (GA Tech) and Clemson University Co-Op/Internship Program: Students are assigned an internship project during the semester. Co-op may count for school credit. Two at time between Clemson and GA Tech.

  • University of South Carolina (USC) Collaboration: USC professors and their students work with an assigned department address specific projects and challenges.

NORTH EUROPE
  • Companies Abroad (Internship Program): This Program offers the opportunity to undertake internships within companies abroad. Students will have the chance to put into practice their organizational capacities and analytical skills, to study the local economic and cultural realities and international investment opportunities.
    • Location: Prysmian Denmark A/S (Varde, Denmark)
    • Eligibility: Bocconi Bachelor students (starting from the end of their 2nd year); Bocconi Master of Science students (starting from the end of their 1st year); Gradutes (within 12 months of graduation)

  • Internship Program: A 1-year internship program, where students not only assigned a project to present at the end of the program, but also are given mentors to foster professional growth. The standard internship includes a scholarship (depending on level of English) and a minimum of 6-hour work days.

  • France Apprenticeship Program: Around 75 apprentices from across the country to learn and grow underneath the guidance of a mentor.
    • Location: All Prysmian Group plants in France
    • Eligibility: Students in French secondary school diploma, 2-year technical or university degree, master, engineering schools

  • Spain Internship Program: Students complete a year in either a business or engineering role.

  • Long-Term Internship Program: Students learn all processes on related departments.

  • Scholarship Contribution: Providing scholarships to employees children, to further their education.

UK
  • Apprenticeship Program: Apprentices are recruited and continue studies with local colleges one day a week to gain both practical and theoretical qualifications. Apprenticeships are for a minimum of two years.

    • Eligibility: Previously enrolled school/college students, with the minimum qualifications for the level of apprenticeship.
